My name is Shelley Samuels and I am Dreamspace.
When I bought my home many years ago, like any new homeowner, I couldn’t wait to make it my own. Being a graphic designer for over 3 decades, I naturally assumed the process of remodeling and decorating was going to be easy. After all... I visualized for a living, right? Well, it didn’t take long to realizing just how daunting the task was.
I’d lie awake at night questioning every design decision. Did I choose the right backsplash? Should I use carpet or hardwood in the bedrooms? Drapes or shades in the living room? Wonder how the space would function if I removed that wall? Money was incredibly tight and there was absolutely no room for error. I had to get it right the first time. I began to create each room in Photoshop. It was far from perfect, but it helped to figure it all out.
Once the dust settled (literally) I thought... "There has GOT to be a better way". If a homeowner could see how their projects will look when completed, while having the ability to change out any aspect of the design quickly and easily, the fear of making costly mistakes would be virtually eliminated. If the contractor and sub-contractors had highly-detailed visuals of the designs, the possibility of miscommunication would substantially be reduced! I knew was onto something!!
And that's how Dreamspace came to be. It is a specialized Interior Design and 3D Rendering service to address THE most difficult aspect of any interior design and remodeling project.
